I was running errands in the area and was looking for a place to eat, so I stopped in at Zen Thai. The restaurant was full of diners so I quickly grabbed a seat at the bar.
The servers were very attentive and genuinely seemed to care about my overall restaurant experience. I started off with the Thai iced tea and papaya salad. The drink was nice and refreshing and the papaya salad had both fresh and spicy elements to it. I particularly loved the crunch of the peanuts on top. For the entrees, I ordered the spicy basil tofu dish and the pork pad see eue dishes. The dishes were both cooked well and were very flavorful.
Overall I quite enjoyed my experience and thought that the dishes were well priced. I look forward to coming back soon!

Zen has been a staple in my and my family’s life for at least 15 years. It started with my love of the basil spice chicken and grew from there. Over the years i have tried new things on the menu and they never disappoint. Right now the Chiang Mai soup is my jam. They usually have pretty bad ass specials going on too. We started getting trays of drunken noodle and Thai fried rice for the parents at our kids birthday parties. I mean, they give up their Saturday, why should the kids get little gift bags for showing up. Hit the parents with something good and this place does it. Don’t forget mango and sticky rice dessert!

We have been eating at Zen for years (probably 10-12) and have never been disappointed! The Tom Yum Noodle Soup is consistently amazing. Tonight I tried a new appetizer- crispy soft shell crab. Yum! It came with a spicy Mayo sauce that when mixed with the shredded cabbage and crab made a delicious salad. On point as always!
